About Us
Heavy Threads is a small business local to the Metro Atlanta Area, based in Lawrenceville, GA. Opening in 2016 we developed a small team of excellent sewers to make bags, soft cases, and a variety of other custom items for the military, medical, and industrial fields.
Over the years, many different types of projects have come in and out of our doors; from military bags, to outdoor packs, to helicopter straps, to outdoor TV covers, to guitar bags, to medical telemedicine bags, to medical implant bags, to product display soft cases for sales teams, and many more. Creating custom designs is one of our many passions.
We use CAD software to create and document the perfect design and for accurate project repeatability. Native to the area, and close to the north Georgia mountains, we have a love for the outdoors and great hiking. This recently led us to enter the world of designing outdoor hiking packs.
